Healing Through Somatic Experiencing and Trust
Wild and Kind Embodiment helps folks release the effects of trauma through Somatic Experiencing. Somatic Experiencing (SE for short) guides people to precisely identify how their reactions to trauma effect their relationships and their ability to orient towards pleasure and vitality.
Trauma dis-regulates people’s nervous systems. Individuals suffering from trauma often struggle with insomnia, hyper-vigilance, phobic behaviors and/or difficulty recognizing and tolerating relative safety with others. These symptoms can often be reduced through coaching, regarding boundary-setting, and gentle physical contact.
I provide this work in a spirit of collaborative repair within a patriarchal culture, in which even white men suffer beneath our privilege. I’m honored to be of service in this way.
